The protagonist

I made a visit to the Tracy Williams Gallery on west 23 Street to see the opening of Norwegian artist Olav Christopher Jenssen. The exhibition named The Protagonist – New York edition is really a highlight and pick of the week. I missed to see some of his pieces shown at Moderna Museet in Stockholm last year and I must say I know little of Jenssens’ previous work. So the exhibition definitely gave me a warm feeling. It felt fresh without being eager to impress. I also really got a great impression of the artist, who had his hole family in the gallery helping out during the opening. He comes across like a really genuine man, something Young Art always want to lift up. Getting to see the artist behind the work makes it so much more interesting – at least to me.
